Located in Wicker Park, Chicago is Wormhole Coffee.  This is the mecca of geek coffee shops and I go here every time I’m around this city. This time I was in the city for a mini vacation with my friend and aspiring musician Cam.

Walking in you get the wonderful smells of good coffee and see an open and relaxed atmosphere which makes a perfect spot to work on your laptop or read a book.  It was very busy when I got there so apologize for the shaky photo.  I found a spot on a couch and got set up before getting in line.

 
The walls are covered with wonderful movie memorabilia and the tables and counters have action figures and toys from the good era.

They don’t offer much for meals but they are partnered with a wonderful bakery and offer cereal and something called Mocha Puffs.  They are coco puffs with milk and a shot of espresso in them.  I had to give them a try.  They had a wonderful bite from the espresso and made my day feel better and more energized.

So if you need somewhere for breakfast or just to work on your work while sipping wonderful coffee Wormhole is the place to be.  I leave you with a wonderful treat I couldn’t wait to show you.  As you head towards the bathroom look up and see a full-size replica of the DeLorean from Back to the Future.
